An Enneagram in Business Network Benchmark Study in 2011 of lessons learned from 72 companies from 20 countries and 5 continents found these companies had been using the Enneagram to dramatically develop their leaders and teams; enhance emotional intelligence and interpersonal competence among their employees; and catalyse culture change.
These companies reported powerful increases in employee engagement, communication, positive interactions, and collaboration between individuals, within team and across business units. Scores were higher on multiple measures on company surveys, including customer satisfaction. Sales rose by double-digits; companies retained key leaders; and in one company, “increased trust and communication saved a $1 million error.” Leaders were scoring higher on 360 surveys, and leaders using the Enneagram for their development have been promoted 2-3 levels higher within very short periods.
