The LPI Debrief Coaching and Workshop
The Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI) provides valuable insights that can be enhanced with LPI Debriefing and Coaching. Using an internationally proven methodology, Rodger works with LPI coaching clients to debrief the LPI, explore the scores and help mine the messages in the data. Rodger can work with you to identify strategies to make changes and agree steps you will take to actually make those changes. The aim is to identify what you can do to become a better leader and support you to fully develop your leadership potential. This process helps leaders meet their particular leadership challenge.
LPI Debrief Coaching can occur with you and Rodger together and/or in a workshop with your team. By involving the team you can obtain more feedback and support. Team members are often inspired to follow your lead and make changes themselves. Where there is a particular theme from the LPI feedback and/or a particular issue the leader and the team want to explore, this can be addressed in the workshop. Workshops can be a half-day or a full day.
For example, in April 2014 Rodger facilitated a half-day LPI Debrief session and Authentic Communication workshop for a leader at Watercare and that leader's team. The leader had previously attended The Leadership Challenge workshop facilitated by Rodger and received feedback from the team via the LPI. The Authentic Communication workshop drew on the work of Dr Marshall Rosenberg, from whom Rodger and Chellie have received intensive training. They have also trained with many other international facilitators trained in his method and have studied a range of other authentic communication approaches that draw on leading academic and applied insights. Feedback from the leader was, ‘Rodger provides genuine, highly skilled and guaranteed learning’ and team member feedback included: ‘Very useful’ and ‘Great self-discovery – I feel enriched’.
